Chris, I have been having the same problem myself and have put a post in the 'bug reports' thread. I thought it may be my PC but I have reloaded the operating system etc and its still the same. (Windows XP service pack 1a).

It may be ISP related, I'm using freeserve anytime

Thanks, the only common denominator is, on the face of it, Windows XP. However, due to the speed that the rejection kicks in I figured that the problem is in Site versus user ID??

It's not the end of the world but I figure that if somebody takes the time to comment in my showroom then the least I could do out of courtesy is to acknowledge/respond.

Sorry missed this one - can someone explain it to me again in a simple step by step way. ie what happens, what you try to do in response and what happens again.

At the moment there is no way to actual reply (ie email) the commenter, unless you find thier showrooms and do it from there.

You can of course leave a comment on your model in response to the comment you got. Which judging by the number of people doing it, seems to be working for the majority of user.

Like i said I'm not really sure what you are doing in this instance so if you give me a bit more info I'll chase it up. As a matter of interest if you try and mail yourself via the 'contact member' facility on your home page does that work OK?

Cheers

Whats happening (at least for me) is you type out a comment and click the 'submit' button and you get a 'page unavailable' message straight away.

I keep meaning to try this from another computer but haven't managed to do this yet.

Don't know whether this is related but I got similar problem after re-installing latest version of ZoneAlarmPro, I went and set all the privacy settings to max.....sadly this meant some 'good' cookies didn't work and caused numerous problems with TC pages as well as ebay. I reduced the privacy settings and it all works again now!

People getting this problem can you.

1. try leaving a comment on one of my models (put TEST in the text so i know its you) and let me know what happens

2.IF you get the error page appearing, right click on it and pull up the properties. Then copy and email me the url, in the properties box

3. Try send yourself a mail from the 'contact member' option on your details page.

thanks

OK I've tracked down the bug - its the commenting system doesn't like if if you have over 15 characters in your username. The bad news is I just cannot see why this would be an issue - everything looks set up to take up to 50 characters.

Until I can find a solution (if i can) all I can suggest you doing is shortening yoour nickname. "Pellandinesport" works fine.

Cheers
