DT-02 Bel Ray Bullet homage (ish!)

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

ive been lurking in the background for a few years now and never really posted anything up but after seeing another DT-02 build similar to mine I thought I would show you one of my latest builds.

Willy is running a 21t motor and  usually a 2s lipo but will handle 3s but is a bit too savage!….usual mods of bearings and CVA’s with tuned springs and tie-rods, also have added some 500,000 oil to the diff which helps massively with traction

A great car for just running around with the kids with their Grasshopper and Fighter buggy.

cheers.

Ronnie.

Yours looks great in blue and white.

This is originally what I wanted to do for mine in red and white. I did not want to wait for a kamtech (sp?) from England and decals from Canada. I wanted to do it all from the lower 48 states and bring it in on the cheap.

If tamiya would release this as an official kit I would be on it! To me it closer than the Holiday Buggy release.

Yeah it was a Kamtec body and the decals are from an English supplier mixed in with loads of other random ones from my leftover box

Very nice. The colors are classic.

It seems that the DT02 is still a popular platform. I only recently discovered the fun this chassis gives. My DT02 is my favorite chassis also at the moment.
