I know I always enjoyed tales of an early Tamiya 4wd (usually a Boomerang, as it sold well and was affordably priced) besting early CATs or Optimas on track. Does anybody have a such a story for the Thundershot series (T-shot, Thunder Dragon, Fire Dragon or Terra Scorcher) keeping pace or beating some of its contemporaries like the Optima Mid?
