Here's a lot more detail, and some more pics:

I've decided to sell my Hotshot Re:Re. The first two kits I built when I got back into this a couple of years ago were the heroes of my youth, a Bigwig and a Boomerang. I run them, I love them, and while I think the Hotshot is probably the best looking of the three, it's just way too similar to the other two, so it's time to move it on...

So, the headline says that it's New in Box(ish). Lemme explain....

The kit is 100% complete, and every part is present, correct and brand new

All plastic part bags are unopened

However, I had some plans for alterations, which meant that at some point I opened up about 50% of the metal parts bags

Some of them are still sealed and as new:

But others have been opened. I've been through the manual and can confirm that every single screw, nut, bolt, e-clip, o-ring, screw pin and bushing is present and correct. I've repacked the open bags into clip-strip bags and labelled which bag they are, so everything is still stored (and can be built) as per the manual

All body parts, wheels, tyres, stickers etc are as new

The sale includes about £100 worth of extras as detailed above

And a few extra plastic bits too....I planned to change the bulk of the red parts to black, so bought an extra set of D Parts and E Parts and set about painting them. They're included, so you can either use or bin the black ones, but the ones I didn't paint will make handy extra spares :)

I've even thrown in a bag of Haribo for that true 'new kit' experience! And not just a 'fun-sized' bag either...the full size job! What a guy :D

Just found this spare pair of front knuckles in a box, so they're now included in this sale too :)

Very interested. Going to Weston air model show on Friday. If I have any cash left, I'll drop you a line. I live in Porthcawl.

The Haribos could swing it!

Nice one...enjoy the show! Let me know, I'm around for some of the weekend so sounds like a pick-up could work :)

@Juhunio had a great time at Weston Park, cheers.

I've decided to reduce my initial outlay and likelihood of the spend being noticed, by buying my next car new, and basic, at the end of the month. Hopefully I can then work on hop ups month at a time

Sorry, the car looks great. Just don't think I can get it past the committee without scrutiny!

Thanks!

No worries, I think I'm going to stick it on eBay later

Ouch!

I figured it was a long shot, but certainly didn't hurt to ask.  The good stuff always seems to be in the UK!
