Love this shot @Ferruz Love the bokeh in the background.

I just hope this beauty don't get deep scratches underneath the chassis.

MC-210CB - I had that installed in my FF-01. Nostalgic ESC indeed.

Some people build them to run them and others build them to put them on the shelf :)

BTW what are you using to take the photo with your phone is showing

All done by the power of the mind 🪄

Nah not really, Mrs RB recently upgraded her phone and her old one was on the coffee table that still works on Wi-Fi without a sim 😁

Thank you! The chassis wasn't immaculate to begin with when I got it, but I do my best to keep it from further scratches during runs. So far so good, the car is very sturdy and doesn't seem to suffer from light-medium use. I just need to see it come to life from time to time!

I do have an extra wing, one for running and one for the shelf.

The MC-210CB is indeed nostalgic, and certainly not amongst the best ESCs around, but it held up OK so far. Only thing, it tends to go from braking position to reverse on its own after a couple seconds, but that's hardly noticeable when driving so it hasn't been an issue.

I have a NIP period correct Associated/Reedy Radon 17t motor that I would love to try out on the RC10, but it'd require ESC replacement and I'm having a hard time taking out the Futaba, for both the vintage feel and the black and gold color which is perfect for the car's livery. One day I'll get around to it 😉

This is awesome, I love the slightly pumped-up feel (rather than the usual road-tight Ferrari look)

And the cockpit is great too 👏

Big-wheels generally aren't my thing, but that is an absolute knockout 👊

@OoALEJOoO Nicely done!  You continue to impress with nicely finished cars and highly detailed driver figures/interior painting!  :D   Great job.

@Juhunio @Willy iine Thanks for the comments guys!

I continue to add cockpits to my cars, the latest being the Ferrari F12 TDF (which has sadly been sitting on a shelf waiting for some time to run it). I'll start a post about this build on my thread over the weekend.

The camo buggy pilot is intended to go with a DT-03 Fighter Buggy.

Thanks @Nicadraus

Its a HPI True Ten Cup Racer kit.

I had a feeling it's an HPI. I have never seen this chassis before. Very interesting.

I got one too, actually.. the CupRacer.  It’s a unique chassis for sure.  Mine runs Tamiya’s Mini bodies

@Tobyone Nice 240!

@naturbo2000  Wow, your black Avante looks bad-******* (butt)!   Nice job.   :D

Thanks! It's the model that got me back into the hobby when they announced the re-re back in February. But I wanted a fictional Black Edition instead of a Black Special.

Those still aren't the final wheels, but whilst I had a can out for Perry's helmet, a thought occurred to me that I could blast some colour onto my white Kyosho's from circa 1990. Really pleased with the result, though the rest of the household preferred the pink...

I also like that you kept the square set up.   I think the Avant just looks better with wide tires on front and rear, but it could be just me.

Definitely. If we're doing 1988, we're doing 1988. If I wanted a dynamically-sorted Avante, I'd buy an Egress. But then I'd want a Top Force Evo instead, so fortunately I built that first

I think you're going to end up with all 3.. Avante/Egress/EVO.  It's just what happens at the end due to natural progression.  :D   I am still kicking myself for not doing an Avante driver in my Egress..  not that the box art Egress is bad or anything, but that extra effort to include a driver makes a HUGE difference.  I have 2 Egress Black's on order.. I am going to build one and absolutely include an Avante driver this time.

@moffmanwow that is spookily similar! Great minds as you say :D.

I went for the alternative box art bit it came out a bit more angular and sharp than the swoopy lines of the box art. The natural moulds of the don't really fit the swoopy side pods.

@toyolien couldn’t answer you in the “no words thread😂” but it’s an L&L mini clubman on a 210mm M05 chassis. Haven’t driven it with this body yet but it’s a real fun chassis.
