Thanks for the reminder. FIxed that. There is actually a fifth kit but it is located in Australia.

Nothing wrong with that.  I'm a bit too old to be driving these cars outside daily too.. I build, drive them from time to time casually, but mostly for enjoyment to admire in my pretend RC shop.

@bRIBEGuy Thanks! I decided to raise the bar a bit and paint free-hand all the details in the uniform. The Michelin Man in particular were quite a challenge! I'll post more pictures once I finish the helmets.

Thanks!   Paint is PS59 (with smoke backing in my case), wheels .. not sure what they are..  I just found them on eBay.     

Actually it was @one_hit's car (I think it was one_hit) I copied.  He did the PS59 and it just looked beautiful.

Are these green and yellow plastic 3D printed or were these really available? I know there were only black, blue and red parts for the TA-01/02/03, FF-01, CC-01.

Awesome!  I am waiting for my other Beetle to come in so that I can build a replica of the one I recently finished before I physically take the built Beetle to my garage.  Basically once it leaves the house to be driven outdoors,  it will never be allowed back in the pretend RC shop due to cleanliness issue.  My outdoor Beetle is running a G14L brushed motor (for the sake of variety as my outdoor Scorpion is running Le Mans 19.5 BL, but the copy will run Le Mans 19.5 BL.  The copy indoor Scorpion I finished last night runs  LE Mans 490.   

@GeeWings Thanks, I too love the look of the factory Optima.  Mine is wearing prototype alloy wheels I got from Kogawa-san himself a couple of months ago.  They are one of a kind wheels (although the shape is pretty much the same as the factory plastic wheels) and was never sold to the public.

@Ferruz lol! Very good! I have recently picked up a whole load of broken Mario karts which we are planning to mash together with more Tamiyas!
