Thank You, it's the Traxxas TRX6 Hauler. I've had it a few years now and have made a few updates to it not seen in this pic.

It's very nice!

Well it’s an EBay special with MCI stickers.  It’s 3d printed which if it were 1/10 scale would be very heavy, but it’s actually on an FMS Smasher V2 chassis with Injora wheels/tyres. So 1/24 scale. It’s bonkers with the upgraded speed motor.

These are very nicely done @jonboy1

Bring me back to memories of my dad. His first RC was the "Rough Rider" painted in dark blue/white with the RMR livery.

100 pages of the RC Gallery (no words) reached with more than 2500 pictures shared (and a few derailing bitter drama included & deleted ).

Congrats TC!

Keep them coming. B)

@cstorckiii That is a mighty fine Group C you have there. Care to tell us a bit more about the mods you did to it?

Thank you, sir. High praise, in deed.

It starts with a Group C chassis,  which is dirt cheep right now, stainless hex button head screws throughout, and blue aluminum locknuts because I recently discovered Plaza Japan. A Carisma carbon lower front deck for centering the SPT 4412LV servo, aluminum servo mounts, Kimbrough medium servo saver with slotted steel ball connectors. Next, I used reinforced front uprights and hard turnbuckles with medium F104 springs. The Front and rear tubular bracing structures were painted aluminum, which I saw in someone's gallery and really liked, and had the extraneous lugs and brackets removed. A TRF Special Damper with reinforced V parts articulating on blue aluminum ball connectors front and rear, and RM01 roll dampers added at the back.. I borrowed @Pylon80's idea for a sheet styrene roll damper center mount but made mine of 2 sheets, and @TurnipJF's idea for the outer mounts, but cut mine from 2 pieced of 1mm black styrene and glued them sandwich style (I had more flexing in the styrene than @Pylon80 for the same thickness, so I doubled up). At the business end I have a Formula tuned motor and blue Yeah Racing 30x10 fan on a Hot Racing modular heat sink/fan mount. Spur gear is a .4 Mod 93T for the F103/4 cars and the pinion is a .4 Mod 30T steel. The electronics are a Hobbywing 1080 with deans connectors (came bare motor wires for some reason) and a FlySky FS-R7V with built in Gyro.

The final piece is the Fenix Racing Porsche 917 shell in GULF-JWA livery. The logos and numbers were built in PDF, image reversed and ink jet printed on clear decal sheet. Then I sealed the sheet with TS13 backed with Duratrax white backing paint, and applied to the inside of the shell. I hand masked the stripes, windows, ducts and engine and sprayed in Corsa Grey, pure orange and black. Flat clear was applied to the engine and ducts on the outside, then the fan was maked and sprayed gold.

Thanks to @TurnipJF, @Pylon80, @Ferruz, and everyone else I'm forgetting who's built and shared a Group C chassis.

@Starky_UK what chassis is under the Porsche 959 if I may ask? Nice collection you have there and some very neat non boxart but boxart inspired livery's IMO. Good work!

@Tamiyastef Thanks. The 959 is currently on an M08. Had been planning to move it on to an MF-01X then they announced the XM-01 Pro so decided to wait for that... now waiting until I can afford one as I spent the money on other things lol.

@Ferruz

These action shots are amazing! These deserve to be awarded as the RC Gallery photo(s) of the month.

Hummm, probably one of those weird gremlins @simalarion ? It happens to me sometimes, I can’t see someone’s pictures for a while then suddenly they appear later on.

Another weird one is I can’t copy & paste from websites to the comment box anymore, just TC Photos & YouTube clips that’s it 🤷🏻‍♂️

I mainly just use my iPhone for everything I do on here.

If I get a chance I’ll try re-uploading them again and see what happens….

I think this might be a Cookie Issue ... clear the cache of the browser (and the cookie jar in the kitchen too) and have a look again. :)

I feel like if you cropped this around the car a bit more, it would be the top half of a full page ad for a Nikko Bobcat in RC car action back in the day.  I love this shot!

Have been browsing the gallery. Shout-out to @Juhunio, your Martini Boomerang looks really sweet! Would love to know where you got the wheels.

Hey @Marchie, thanks for the positive notes 👍 The rims are JC Racing Pepperpots in blue. I could have this wrong but I think they're 2.2" rather than the Boomer's usual 2". I seem to remember that the tyres fit ok, but you might prefer to try some 2.2"ers

Interested to see the pic but can't find it. Any chance you could link to the right spot in that thread?
