Thank you. When I first peel off the protective film I thought the paint job ruined the body. There are some areas where the translucent silver did not cover enough and black shines through a bit. Also the transitions between red and silver are not as good as I hope plus some bleeding. My plan was to do a P-47 Thunderbolt adaption which was cancelled as the painting result reminds me more of a McLaren F1 car from the 2000s. I set some black highlights with black plotter foil and a very reduced sticker usage. Also do some black lining on the colour transitions. Finally I'm very happy with the outcome.

Looking forward to decal'ing the Golf MK1 Group2.  MR put a logo in the rear window - and I'm hoping it's a decal I can remove.   

I'm pretty happy with his work, took forever which is the downside but I'm sure he's busy.  Turn around was probably 3 months I think.   He's def a pro.

Will be trying to find a good hidden body mount for the hood pin.  If you have any recommendations please let me know.

@FranksterThank  you for the kind words.  I really wish Tamiya would re-re the King Cab, and I also have had an urge to do something with a DT-02 chassis so this came about.  It is my current favorite "daily driver".  CVDs and aeration dampers really polish the handling on this chassis.

I use mine as a daily basher as well.  I do need to find another solution to help connect the body to the chassis better as it bounces around considerably with a single fastening point in the rear. 
 

In some aspects I do like this better than the king cab with a lower stance of a stadium truck.  Unfortunately the body does have a few odd curves and angles.

I have six DF-01 at the moment and the runner is basically a Top Force Evo just with Blazing Star body and some Xtreme Racing Hop-Ups (it is all in the build thread). The only thing left would be to make a custom parts car in the future.

Thought about white for a short time, but right now I am on a PS48-"trip". Everytime I see a white, grey metallic or black livery, my first thought is: " How would it look in Semi-gloss-silver-anodized-aluminium

Thanks, Kol_!   She is a very talented and crafty person so I expected no less.   

So she bought me some white/blue/red holeless beads today, for my upcoming gum ball machine.   Willy's shop needs a gum ball machine.. the shop just looks too funny and a gum ball machine would fit right in.. I think.  

I will do a vending machine for the City Turbo's car lounge (upper level) afterwards. .
