Monster Scorcher

Is it possible to fit Sand Scorcher wheels to a Monster Beetle, and so create something which has the general appearance of a SS but with a bit of extra height/clearance?  I think I'm looking to make up for trading my original SRB 20 years ago...

They should fit mate, but I think you might need a set of the below linked item on the rear axles to ensure that you have enough thread on the axle to get the wheel nuts fully on -

Or at least a set of the plastic Sand Scorcher kit ones, as I believe that the SS ones are a little slimmer to allow for a slightly wider wheel hub.

I fitted a set of the alloy SS ones to my MB to get another thread or two on the axles to really get the wheels nuts on securely and that was using a set of the Blackfoot wheels.
