Wanted: Manta Ray / TA-02 battery holder

Wanted: Manta Ray / TA-02 battery holder   New or used. 
 

TA-02 part E5. I am sure this is used on many other Tamiya cars and buggies as well

E5 don’t fit too well since NiMH & lipo appeared... I’ve just been stabbing in a suitably sized dowel into the tub’s hole to hold modern battery in. 

Started off with offcut from a bodypost; lately it’s been a length cut off a disposable chopstick.  Chopstick is tapered too, friction fit so don’t even need to make a hole for bodyclip to secure it. 

Ironically tried making my own modified E5s for longer packs but depending on the battery, after I’ve carved out the tub to fit squarer lipos - they’re self-retaining via their bullet connectors.

Thanks for the advice.  The modern NiMC are slightly longer.  Overall trying to find a solution that does not look too much of a band-aid solution
