Grasshopper revival

I've just dug out my old Grasshopper and it needs some tlc.[] An old mate wanted my radio gear and in return swapped me his older radio gear and a 540 motor which he fitted to my 'hopper. I can't remember back if it has worked after that. I tried recharging the racing pack he gave me, but to no avail. Any ideas[?] Guess i need a new battery, maybe charger too from somewhere. Any help and advice would be much appreicated.
