On to the rear suspension

Rear uprights and sealed bearings included in the kit, the purple shafts are a limited edition 49*** part.

Don't think I'll enough purple ball connectors 😳

Had a quick count up and I think I'll be two short 🙁

If anyone has a couple spare I can purchase let me know 🤞

O I see, it's not a film looks more like it's de- laminating

If it is it won't be used! In fact I'm edging towards the X brace now

Yes it has de-laminated, just calling it film for now.

On my build I had the same issue.  I removed the layer and gave it a rub down with some fine wet and dry.  Came out sweet and not a lot of effort needed.

Think I prefer the plastic part to the carbon🙄

It's the holes for the battery tape which be redundant puts me off

Servo fitted with a black rather than the kit issue white servo saver.

Purple servo stays took some finding before a TC member helped me out, since seen a few for sale🙄

Decided that I'd use 53569 wheel hubs as I couldn't find the 49142 set.

I've tried different manufacturers for wheel hubs on bashers and nothing comes close to the Tamiya ones.

Yes the Tamiya ones have something incredible about them that most others don't: when you tighten the screw, they actually clamp!

I know, right? Particularly as it has an actual and immediate practical benefit over the stock part, which isn’t always the case for  Hop Ups 😂
