Agreed, on a balance of quality, availability, reliability, flexibility and affordability, MCI have always been spot on 👌

95% the quality of Tamiya

1000% the quality of eBay

I bought a set of falcon decals off eBay - they were so bad they weren’t even good enough to stick on my shed bin

Fully agree. I have tried Tamiya repro stickers from many sources, most of which are claimed to be sooooo good by the sellers and/or "perfectionist" customers. None of them have been remotely as good as MCI. The original Tamiya stickers are quite a bit better, so I will rather pay a lot more to get originals, but in cases where originals are (next to) impossible to source, MCI is my only alternative. The majority of the other "perfect" ones are simply  crap.

Well, it's been 2-1/2 weeks, and still no reply to my previous emails, nor replacements received from MCI...

Sent off another email so we'll see...

Stickers arrived.

Much better start for sure...

Inside?  Stickers look MUCH better this time around.  There are still some small flaws and marks, but nothing that would be a hard deal breaker like the first batch.

Overall the resolution and print quality looks much better.

Now that being said, I do still feel like this leaves me in an awkward position for the next time I'm looking to buy stickers.  I'm reasonably happy with the outcome here, and MCI was reasonable to deal with, BUT... at the end of the day, I feel like the first batch of stickers should never have been sent out in the first place, and the whole process to get the stickers I should have received initially ended up taking over 6 weeks.

Glad you got the stickers sorted.

My two cents: since there was good communication and MCI fixed their mistake, I would give them another chance next time you need stickers.

Mistakes can be made, but they are not always acknowledged. Since he did, then fair enuff :)

@bRIBEGuy Good to see you are finally satisfied with your purchase.

Yeah, definitely took quite a bit of effort and grief on your side.. hope you can give him the benefit of the doubt on the next order.

GL with  your project!!

**** does happens and importantly it was resolved.

By the way MCI is a small Canadian company, they have sales based on Canadian holidays.  Labour Day is coming up and shortly after will be Canadian Thanksgiving.  I am prepping my order already 🤗
