@Tomason let me know about the track you have.

3 large boxes with circuits and

2 boxes with slope section red

The circuits were new.
I mounted them all once in the garage.

It was fun and fast

@Tomason the prices for cars depends a lot on the specific model and its age. Many cars have been re-released, and newer ones tend to be worth less.

As a rule, anything made in Japan tends to be be older, and worth more. Anything from the 80s new in box is a gold mine. 90s a bit less so but still valuable. After that it depends in rarity and how iconic the kit is. Some kits were much lower volume or have never been re-re’d, so worth more.

I too would be interested in seeing a complete list!

What do you think about these two?

Year 1993 and 1995.

What would be a fair price if you were to sell them?

I would love them but postage for something so large and heavy will be crazy...

This is still current so price it according to this.

I actually have the speed pack of this car (and the 1/14 and the 1/10) and is the current fastest in my collection

Thought I'd better post my progress in here as well.

The canopy doesn't seem to be smoky enough. Must be very light coating or they forgot :D

It says compatible chassis are Type-2, Type-4, and VS. Since VZ is supposed to be VS successor I thought it might fit but apparently it's not.

Oh well I bought it out of curiosity anyway.

A few years back, Tamiya issued a counterfeit warning about this item. Perhaps you have a bootleg? Useful to have it without the sMike window, I reckon!

It's getting there.... Razorback got new batteries. Fire dragons batteries have slowed down a little but it still leaves the track sometimes, got to strengthen the inner lane a bit and it's almost done.!!

I don't think so, the package is exactly look like what alvinlwh posted. Also while non-official parts market is big here they usually clearly labeled and tagged as such. The store I bought from doesn't seem to carry any.

It could be just shadow or reflection but under a bright light I can see some sort of coating, at least.

If the tint is too light for your liking, you can always spray some smoke over it.

You can, in theory, build a VZ chassis out of parts but unless you are well up to speed about parts cross compatibility, I will not recommend that. I did that once and it was a pain! But then the last time I built Mini 4WDs was like 3 decades ago (Type-1 chassis, remember those?).

https://www.plazajapan.com/4950344953530/

VS is still current so perhaps get a cheapest VS kit and swap the shell.

Personally, I will still get that yellow chassis and swap everything else with the kit. Blue on yellow do look good.

I said "apparently" but I actually own a VZ (Dual Ridge Jr.) and tested the body on it. I found some parts on the body and battery holder on the chassis among other things conflicted with each other so that's a no, unless I do some heavy modification. But I'm in no rush so yeah I'll look out for a VS someday.

Sorry, my mistake. What I am meant to say is you still can build a VS chassis and kits with that chassis are still available.

The links I posted are for the VS chassis.

I'm not sure I understand how they made the price.

£3.66

£500.00

I have this Tamiya 19416.

What would be the right price anyway?

Let me introduce IRN-BRU corner,

The hardest corner on the track,

some say it's made in Scotland from girders, other people call biscuits cookies, all we know is that it's called IRN-BRU.

Hx77xs5.jpeg

Long after Coca-Cola removed their "secret" ingredient, IRN-BRU were still using Irn.

Looks a bit like a can the way I trimmed the top, if you squint a bit. Lol

Now introducing "Tunnocks tea cake" corner and also "Tunnocks tea cake" tunnel.

Had to flatten the high bank inside corner because it was causing problems.

And I think my work is complete.

I cut the end off because my little boy kicked off because his car crashed.

Decided to test out my most tuned cars to see which one is the fastest.

Rr6XgM9.jpg

L - R

Aero Avante - AR Speed Spec Starter Pack with PC shell, Hyper Dash motor replacing the Rev Tuned.

Blast Arrow - MA Power Spec Starter Pack

Rowdy Bull - FM-A Starter Pack, this one has no bearings yet

Ray Spear - VZ Chassis with Basic Tune Up Parts Set for VZ chassis and the fastest motor of the lot, Sprint Dash

Some videos first before the result.

Surprisingly, the VZ came in last even with the fastest motor.

Next up is the FM-A, probably let down by its lack of bearings yet.

The final results is also a surprise as the Torque Tuned powered MA beat the Hyper Dash powered AR.
