Nice! Been a long time coming this one has, even if it won’t be in original livery, decals etc.

Curious to see what changes will be made, apart from the obvious decals. Plated wheels and chassis parts like the Wild One BHM?

P.S. This is basically a re-release so should probably be in the re-re section of the forums.

Not sure how I feel about this one.  One of the really appealing things for me about the HotShot II is how it looked.

Hopefully they end up releasing in the original livery as well...

While I think the Hotshot 2 is a great release, would love to see some actual pictures of it please Tamiya!

Also find myself more intrigued about the TT02BR and TT02SRX chassis kits 😁

They do have a very colorful and distinguished signature for certain.

I haven’t bought the WildOne version.. not sure why.  It looks good, I think.

Surprised there isn't more enthusiasm around the hotshot II.  That's one of the kits that always comes up when folks are asked what re-re they want.  It's right up there with king cab and falcon.  Is it because of the livery and color changes to parts?

Argh.  No red shocks is a bummer...  And if this is really what it's going to looks like, then @BubbaGump365's interpretation is much nicer, IMHO.

It takes away everything that made the Hotshot II look so awesome. This might as well be a Supershot.

Well that's certainly different. Can't beat the original colour scheme though.

I wonder if it will come with the unique silver box lid?

The yellow shocks would be disappointing for me also, but at least we will get more D parts trees!

Are the hotshot and hotshot II body sets the same?  Wondering how easy/hard it would be to turn this into a vintage looking HSII

You get get everything easily enough other than the D parts free and red parts. So when this comes out we’ll just be missing the red parts.

I'm looking forward to seeing what "R" bits come with the TT-02BR. How do we think this will compare to the TT-02B MS?

Just been across there for a look. Quite a tempting package with some worthwhile upgrades I think. How durable are the oil filled gear diffs I wonder?

My XV02 ones were leaking all over the place before they even made it into the chassis! I had to completely rebuild one of them with a new case!
