ThunderDragonCy 7881 Posted November 10, 2022 Hmmmm. Hotshot 2......
Wandy 1527 Posted November 10, 2022 Nice! Been a long time coming this one has, even if it won’t be in original livery, decals etc. Curious to see what changes will be made, apart from the obvious decals. Plated wheels and chassis parts like the Wild One BHM? P.S. This is basically a re-release so should probably be in the re-re section of the forums.
FromageTheDog 65 Posted November 10, 2022 Not sure how I feel about this one. One of the really appealing things for me about the HotShot II is how it looked. Hopefully they end up releasing in the original livery as well...
Misterp180 257 Posted November 10, 2022 While I think the Hotshot 2 is a great release, would love to see some actual pictures of it please Tamiya! Also find myself more intrigued about the TT02BR and TT02SRX chassis kits 😁
Elbowloh 1128 Posted November 10, 2022 What's SRX? I'm aware of the SR, what would the X element be?
TurnipJF 9192 Posted November 10, 2022 X-tra blue bits? 2
Willy iine 18806 Posted November 10, 2022 They do have a very colorful and distinguished signature for certain. I haven’t bought the WildOne version.. not sure why. It looks good, I think.
El Gecko 1344 Posted November 10, 2022 Wonder if it will look like @BubbaGump365's version or the Jun Watanabe livery from the video?
A-Baum 352 Posted November 10, 2022 Surprised there isn't more enthusiasm around the hotshot II. That's one of the kits that always comes up when folks are asked what re-re they want. It's right up there with king cab and falcon. Is it because of the livery and color changes to parts?

FromageTheDog 65 Posted November 10, 2022 Argh. No red shocks is a bummer... And if this is really what it's going to looks like, then @BubbaGump365's interpretation is much nicer, IMHO.

This might as well be a Supershot. 2

Cynan 520 Posted November 10, 2022 The yellow shocks would be disappointing for me also, but at least we will get more D parts trees!
A-Baum 352 Posted November 10, 2022 Are the hotshot and hotshot II body sets the same? Wondering how easy/hard it would be to turn this into a vintage looking HSII
Cynan 520 Posted November 10, 2022 You get get everything easily enough other than the D parts free and red parts. So when this comes out we’ll just be missing the red parts.
TurnipJF 9192 Posted November 10, 2022 I'm looking forward to seeing what "R" bits come with the TT-02BR. How do we think this will compare to the TT-02B MS?

TurnipJF 9192 Posted November 10, 2022 Just been across there for a look. Quite a tempting package with some worthwhile upgrades I think. How durable are the oil filled gear diffs I wonder?
