Vintage Shocks?

Hi Guys, can anyone tell me if the shocks in my picture are genuine Tamiya or not.

They kinda look it, but not sure......

They look a lot like the Tamiya df03 options, although I wouldn't call them vintage.

Yeah they look like the DF03 hop up shocks. I have a couple of sets. They were replaced with a DF03/TT02 version which changed the smooth caps for ones with grips/ridges. They aren’t vintage and you can still buy them new from some sites.

I am by no means a damper specialist but I've not seen the notches on the adjusters on any tamiya damper nut before!. Must be a new thing ,almost like for a regular car coil over C spanner

Interesting - I bought a set of these for my re-released top force in the mid-2000s, making them about 15-20 years old. 

I also joined tamiya club in the mid-2000s, and at that time, models from the 80s were considered vintage. Do things need to be older now to be considered vintage?

I’m thinking if it’s still sold it’s not vintage. But I’ve not looked up the definition..
