Anyone in the UK know the following?

Ordering from Aliexpress,item is £6.47 with free shipping. dDo i get hit with RM`s joke of handling charge?

Aliexpress will charge VAT on HMRCs behalf when you go through checkout, I think it would be highly unusual for UK customs to take any further interest in a £6.47 package.

I've ordered a few things from Aliexpress for under £100 and not had any handling fees.  I can't remember how the whole customs thing works now but lower value imports seem to be fine.

Always thought RM`s handling charge was nothing to do with import etc,just for putting it through the letter box!
