Rally! 150 Posted December 7, 2022 Hi. Does anybody know if the yellow damper oil that comes with the CVA super mini's is hard, medium, or soft? Also, any tips I should know about these? I've only heard positive things about them. I'm mounting them to my TT-02 Audi Quattro A2 Rallye Thanks!
Jonathon Gillham 4606 Posted December 7, 2022 I'm pretty sure the yellow damper oil is 400CST, which is generally about right for a road car. Not sure about rally setup though, but its probably a decent starting point

I'm going for a 'scale driving' thing with this build, so the type of 'Rally' driving I'll be doing is tarmac and dusty roads. No big jumps or gravel. Frog Jumper 3661 Posted December 7, 2022 #400 is considered “soft” in the Tamiya line: https://www.tamiyausa.com/shop/maintenance-supplies/rc-silicone-damper-oil-2/
