Surpass Hobby brushless motors

Hello everyone. I'v got a tt02b that I want to use the stock TBLE esc with a brushless motor. I'v seen these Surpass Hobby brushless motors and people say they sell to other manufacturers to brand so there good. They have a decent price range/quality but I wanted something simple that could be used with stock esc.  

Would something like these 3100kv sensored Surpass Hobby motor be good?

They also make a Rocket series. Seems to get good reviews, anyone have any luck with these motors? Im just looking for a small upgrade to stock motor.

I have a Rocket combo in my 1/10 touring car running 3s.

No issues.  The ESC's only have a few adjustable parameters.

All sourced from ebay.

NO! The linked motors are sensorless and will not work with the TBLEs. I use that 3100kv one with the matching ESC on my MTX-1 build.

 

Furthermore, the second one is a 380 sized motor in a 540 sized case (F540 = Finned 540), high KV/RPM, but not that good.

Rockets can work with the TBLEs, but keep it below 13.5t if no fan, it was reported that the 10.5t one can work with a fan on the ESC.

Ok thanks guys. After more reading it seems the blue bottle 13.5t is the budget friendly way to go. Thats about 34 bucks, but for 38 I can get a rocket supersonic,

Its fixed timing so I may want to consider variable timing as the dual ridge might be a big tire off roader or track car.

Get a V3 for a bit more for timing adjustment. I use my bluebottle with a programmable ESC to get back some control.
