For all the people getting different wheels but using stock tires - What size wheels are you sourcing?

Any 26mm touring car wheels fit.

How’s everyone found the stickers on the rear panels?

I have done all the stickers except the back panels because it’s stressing me out. Seems like a few different curves and angles to get the number background to form around.

I love the two sided paint job.

As far as the decals go, I have found that a heat gun, carefully applied, is the best way to get decals to conform to curved surfaces. It is really a game changer.

Has anyone utilized the included body posts to mount the hood panel? The body has faint embossed dots where the holes should be and they appear to line up with the mounting points on the chassis. I am not a huge fan of velcro for bodies. Does the velcro seem to work well? I worry about the paint ripping off with the adhesive or bending the lexan when pulling it off.

I apply a langer area with Duct tape before gluing magnetic body mounts so when they work lose they don't pull the paint. I would do that before velcro also.

Hey thanks.

Yeah, I have been using a hairdryer to get the decals to bend. I’ll give it a go.

Cheers

There are many cheap HeatGuns but with surprisingly good Quality in Norway (compare to the price), they are much better than hairdryer that i used before as you can control the heat better and also more concentrated heat.

I Also use this on wires after soldering (shrink plastic) & on X-mas tradition dinner in Norway called "Ribbe" (on the Pork skin to get crispy Svor), so it turned out to be quite a handy thing other than heating up stickers.

Yeah, the hairdryer doesn’t get very hot at all. I think I’ll look into a heat gun before trying to do the rear stickers.

I got a paint pen on the weekend and painted the lettering on the tyres.

That looks nice yes. I tried so many different types off these Paint Pens and i never got it right, some are to thick and a few off the thin ones i got hold off i can either get nothing out off or in splash out (like the Heinz Glassbottle for ketchup), last i got a selection of Sharpies as i heard good things, they are hardly sold in Norway and are very overpriced where they got them, ordered abroad and most off them where dried out when i got them and the ones that are not i gave up because i am not close to your result... So in the end i gave up on painting the tires

Before you order, Blasted RC has them for 299 euros. They have most of the hop-ups in stock as well it seems.

That would end up costing more than UK Price with taxes though :(

The tray is 50mm x 152mm (without the included foam inserts) x 20.5mm high.

I'm not an expert on batteries and I don't own anything greater than 5000mah but I reckon any 2s lipo will fit.

What's consensus on the necessity to back the PS-4 with PS-1? It's such a dark blue that it doesn't seem necessary but I have PS-1 for the roof so...

It is pretty dark, I didn't bother backing. Plus, unless trimming after paint, I'd worry about the white showing up on the edges. Additionally, you'd see white from the outside looking in, at the rear especially.

Not required. PS4 has high volume solid. Totally opaque after the thickness built up.

Can now confirm that the aftermarket sway bar kit reduces the tendency to roll over on high traction surfaces.  Using the sway bar kit in addition to adjusting the rear upper links to give more negative camber helps even further.  I made the rear upper link shorter by removing the plastic spacer and replacing with spacers from  OP-539 Aluminum Spacer Set to reduce the length by 2.5mm on each side.   I'd love to add photos but apparently I have reached my photo limit.
