Had to pick up a Yeah racing version and now looking for a 60mm + dog bone I see you problem but I’m surprised. If the front and rear wheels are in the correct orientation, ie parallel, as in the original chassis where the drive shaft meets up ok surely by just shortening it all else should remain the same, or am I missing something very simple!!!!!

Yeah I am surprised myself. See below 2 photos which provides additional context on the miss-alignment in both axis’s.

Frankster 2033 Posted February 26, 2023 Electronics installed. Wheels painted. Added a yellow Bluetooth speaker to play “SpongeBob Theme song. Temporarily used my wife’s hair elastic to hold the battery and speaker in place. Drives well with drift tires. Also have a pair of street tires in matching light green. More photos next weekend. . Stock powertrain with bearings.
Frankster 2033 Posted March 6, 2023 Out to a small RC track. Brought my son and we met up with another family. My son drive his stock TT-02B. I drive the Sponge Bob Square Pants TA-02 and Mini Street Hornet M-05. Bob had drift tires and it was hopeless first time out. Car was not drifting how I imagined. Swapped the green drift wheels with a friends TT-02SR tires and it was night / day. Cheapo US$9 servo with a stock silver can managed a few good laps until the battery drained. Drive was stable but on turns the inside rear wheel would lift due to the weight of the body and high center of gravity. I don’t think there is an anti-roll bar for the TA-02 and I may need stiffer springs in the front to compensate. Overall a joy as I had a small Bluetooth speaker playing Sponge Bob theme song on auto loop. I got hit a few times but the kid grade toy body was designed to withstand abuse from kids. Mini Street Hornet 🐝 did not do as well. Something wrong with the diff, causing it to shimmy left and right. Or it could be the cheap servo saver and I need to use a fixed servo horn.
