About the 'who's online' thingie

Just curious here. I used to like it when the who's online thing displayed the list of members in alphabetical order. Why is it all a jumble now? Can it be put back? Am I asking too many questions? []

Sorry its now sorted on, who last looked at a page - ie the one at the top was the last person to look at a page on the club - ie the most recently active (most times this will be the person looking), second is the person before you etc etc. The ones at the end of the list are those people that haven't changed the page they are looking at for the longest. If they don't look for about 15mins they eventually drop off the list.

I changed it a while back because the old system wasn't very accurate. Its easy to spot when people visit the site but much harder to detect when they leave - this way is spot on, it also gives some indication of who is on the site at the same time as you (ie the ones at the top of the list - the ones towards the end could already be gone)

Resorting the list alphabetically will loose this feature, plus it a chunk of extra work the server has to do every page access.

ive got a question about the whos online thingy too []

whenever i come to tc for the first time atfer coming online, my name is still at the bottom, even if i hadent been on tc all day.

why does this happen [?]

im gessing everyone sees there own name at the bottom each time they visit the site. is that wright?

one more little question then (sorry lol[])

most members have there number of posts next to there name, either any number below 100 or 100+ posts.

how come ive only got "posts" next to my name? i noticed that with another member yesturday. bit weird, o well []

ahh could be []

i done a search on google for my user name, it came up with over 100 results, each rusult being a post ive made in the forums

so if it wouldnt for my user name i'd have the 100 + posts thingy []

(POSTS)there use to be like a point system for the post i.e

1 - 50 Hornet

50 -100 Hotshot

100 -150 Sandscorcher ect....

but there was a few ppl just posting rubbish to get the Sandscorcher Status and it was like a race who had the most posts so Chris and the mod's (sounds like a Punk band lol) changed it to as it is now to stop it as filling the server with junk takes up too much space
