2S lipo doesn’t fit into Egress

i just finished building the Egress black edition and now it turns out, my batteries don’t fit. i cut the plastic protection of the batteries to gain half a millimetre, but it’s not enough. are there shorter plastic boxes for batteries available?

I run original size NiMH in mine, as it is mostly for display I do not care to run LiPo.  

Modern sized NiMH do not fit either.

I removed the alloy post, ground it down about halfway and refitted, you never see it

I run Gens Ace 2S Lipo in mine. They are a tight fit but I filed a tiny bit off the ridges on the back and it does now squeeze in.

I use a shorty lipo on mine which fits great. I also get to use the shorty on my SRB cars and F104 so it was money well spent
