Clod Tire Experts -help identify tires

I'm pretty certain those are Twinn-k tires. TMS (the aluminum wheel people) also sold tires like that but they were so close, I would bet they were just re-branded Twinn-k tires. Imex sold V-spike Clod tires as well but the knob size/density was different and while ESP sold spiked Clod tires under their early Clodzilla Racing effort (pre-Clodzilla 2 ladder chassis), I don't believe they were in a "V" pattern.

I think in the old days (1990’s) Duratrax sold these tires for the Clod. I remember seeing them in the Tower Hobbies catalogs in my youth.

I'm not sure if there were different molds used, but I always thought the Duratrax V-Spike tires looked like this:

Notice the two halves of the tire are perfectly aligned so the tread meets in the middle. Versus the ones posted above where the two halves are offset like normal tractor style tread.

Ok, I too, remembered the Duratrax tires looking like the ones posted by @El Gecko, so I went digging to double check my memory. Here's the TMS tires:

Its sticks in my mind that Twinn-K had the same offerings but I dug up an old Tower ad at @TheMidnight Pumpkin's suggestion and found:

Both brands were offered in split V and standard V spikes. They all look very similar too (Twinn-k as well) which almost makes one wonder if they weren't shared/rebranded amongst several manufactures. I'm fairly certain that Imex's version had different size/density of spike, plus I think they put their name on the side of the tire or something. So, in the end, we might be all correct.

Nice @Saito2, that's what we were missing. The ad in my Tower catalog only had the V-Spike, not the Split V-Spike like OP's. Looks like there were two molds after all! I agree it was probably a generic set of tires that was relabeled by all those various brands... Twinn-K, TMS, Duratrax all had similar tires in the catalogs around the same time.
