Thanks. I made it out of some 1/8" ABS.

I need to try a similar setup for my own Tamiya buggies, the stock bumpers good for bumping but tends to catch the ground on landings.

Yeah the slight sweep up of the front skid plate looks like a really good idea.

What is the sideways locator on that four-bar in the rear?  Those are not 3d printed front arms - fx10 kit or something else?

Looks nice!

Thanks. I got the idea from when when I was younger and saw a similar set up on whats now a vintage RC10(gold pan). It looked like it would handle all those nose dives we encounter a lot better than the set up I was running. I had a Monogram Lightning, not bad for toy grade. It had a 540 and looked decent, but it was like driving around a light bulb... Practically every time I would hit/land something it would break and being toy grade parts where mail order only.

Its a 3D printed 4 link that I purchased off eBay. You have to cut the pivot point that's attached to the differential case for it to work and those are FX10 A arms.

Thanks for the positive feedback! Ya the 4 link is really smooth and it eliminates the diff slap when accelerating with it originally being a Hornet rear end.

If you get a chance, please post a running video. Would love to see it in action!

Defiantly! My track has to thaw out first, I live in Northern California and we had the biggest winter in 50 years.

It was a little nerve racking, but Tamiya gearboxes are readily available on eBay if you mess up and you can cut big then sand the rest.

Good luck!
