Everything is the same barring the body mounts.

yes but they use different mounts so you need to swap those.

Yup, just unscrew the old mounts and screw in the new ones. Stick to plastic mounts, aluminum mounts increase the chances of your chassis breaking in those areas.

Not sure about that.  I've had aluminium mounts on for ages and plenty of rolls and they've been fine.  It may depend how much you (ab)use it!

I have the stock plastic ones on my LB and I broke the chassis. It is from 1987 so there is that but the glue is currently holding

It'd be nice if there was a flexible rubbery alternative. That'd be ideal I think.
