So this is what I left now - overall I would guesstimate I’ve owned over 200 Tamiya, but times have changed and so have my priorities.

I have kept the very ‘best of the best’ - for example I’ve owned 7 Hilux in total, 6 at the same time - all have now been sold except for the one in the picture which I consider to be the very best of the 7.

This is a common theme with most of the remaining models and each one of the  models I have kept has to me a great back story and a bit of history to it.

Like you guys and gals I have boxes of spares and the correct period radio gear and batteries etc for each model as well.

Not everyone’s taste, I get that and I am comfortable with it too, no drama at all.

Hobbies are very personal, but also a great way to share our idiosyncrasies and have an outlet is my take on it.

I thought I posted a picture of the tank. Yes still got it. I do have a raptor but it’s not Tamiya it’s a Losi . I have quite a few others that are not Tamiya, will have to do a separate picture including the jet boat!!!

I also own the tamiya MFO1x mk2 escort RS1800 but it's not complete. The lunch box has had a few upgrades but the black '98 Ford escort & Blackfoot are standard(for now 😉)

To echo @Sogogi what a marvellous collection. Like a "greatest hits" from Tamiya catalogues of the time. Blazer especially feels to me like a precious piece of history, for some reason. I was in a shop recently marvelling for a time at their glass cases of vintage Tamiya, including Super Champ, Scorcher, Blazer, which weren't as good examples as you have there.

Isn’t interesting what a really wide selection of rc vehicles members have from fantastic on road cars to totally realistic tanks (something I don’t know anything about but look brilliant!) and all things between this is my now very depleted collection after property downsizing because children flying the nest! And we didn’t need a house with a load of empty rooms (smaller house smaller bills easier life!!)
