A couple of old photos I found

I have virtually no photos of my old RC cars, but recently when looking through boxes of old family photos I did find a couple. Here's me with my Grasshopper, probably right after I built it (nobody had told me yet that frequency flags weren't cool)...

 

And here is my original Blackfoot, probably a later photo. I know that silver and red paint job was a repaint, and the IMEX tires came along later as well. That means this is probably being powererd by a Twister stock motor here, with a Thorp ball diff - a MAJOR splurge at the time....

A rare find, very  lucky.....hang on, what do you mean frequency flags arent cool? No-one told me.
