Associated DR10 brushless to SCT conversion?

Just saw that amain has associated DR10 brushless RTR combo for $190.. which i think is very tempting. However i am not so into drag racing stuff and thinking.. what if i swap out tires for SCT.. or even 2wd buggy… have anyone tried that? (Chassis looks the same)

If its anything like the Drag Slash, the shocks and a arms might be different. It'd be nice if the brushless SC10 was on sale.

You can convert a DR10 to an RB10 (buggy)

You just need the chassis plate, a body, and maybe the shock towers IIRC

Once you add up the cost of parts, wheels, and tires. Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy an RB10 from the start (and not have spare DR10 bits sitting around)?

Yep

Would be even more expensive to convert it to the shortcourse truck I think
