Hi Members,

just to say Hi before I start asking questions!

I have a small collection of TL-01b, WR-01 and WT-01 models which have been resurrected from random auction purchases... 

I have a few others in the household which have fun with them even if they do think they're a bit old for them now (including myself!).

None of them are for display, just for bashing in the park.  Mods therefore are reliability related, like waterproof receiver boxes, kimbrough servo savers and a couple have the shapeways servo mounts. 

The plan for them is to just keep them running, but perhaps spend a little more on the one I use the most (on the far left).  They are of course old and are not cheap to keep running! The reason I have 4 in the first place was just because I bought rolling chassis' as spares and ended up getting them up and running again. 

At one point I ended up painting a Brat shell, but that ended up costing far more than I'd hoped!

I had considered replacing mine for a Tekno MT410, but i think these have fun left in them with a few motor swaps.

Hello to you too and welcome! That Brat looks supernice and so does the Grave Digger in Blitzer Beetle style IMO. Where did you get the Beetle body as I may ask?

I’m afraid I have no idea where those body shells are from.  I thought the Baja bug might have been a proline body, but I can’t see anything online…
