Why do people always **** me around with trades???

I'm sorry, but I really do have to vent this frustration right now:

WHY DO PEOPLE ALWAYS MESS WITH ME RATHER THAN BE HONEST?!

I posted that I wanted some Grasshopper gearcase halves.

First off I get a reply, then a picture, then the items are clearly broken in the picture.. Who in their right mind wants to buy broken parts?

Then, I get a response from another guy.

He then sends me a picture of some gearcase halves. They look allright, so I make him an offer.

Then he sends me a message back going: "well they look allright so I'm just going to keep them, but you can have some other ones instead" - with no picture of the other ones?!

This is getting to me.

Argh!!!

Well I guess I'll just have to wait until something comes along on ebay, because the trading on tamiyaclub just doesn't seem to be working out anymore.

This one guy just tried to sell me an ESC which clearly had corrosion (rust) on the area where you solder the wires onto, obvious water exposure and rough use if you ask me. This just goes on and on..

Stickman: I guess, but I don't really want to buy a whole hornet.

I've got the parts that I needed now, mostly - thanks to those who helped out.

do you see water damage..last time i did science i seem to recall gold, silver and copper dont rust..or was it "heavy corrosion"

please point it out for all to see

ideal2k...it was me that was selling you the speedo,you have 1 or 2 choices:

1. remove this post and apologise for the remark about the speedcontroller in question...

2nd will result in a liable claim for loss of sale on the speedo to fellow racers due to slander against my nature insinuating i am selling faulty equipment.

Also, when it comes to liability - at no point did anyone name you in any way so it looks like you have a rather weak case there, and also this speedo does indeed look very rough so I don't see quite how you would have any claim whatsoever.

Basicly what I think is that you felt guilty, and as such immediately went on the defense.

the first picture i sent you was a quick picture,you asked if it was ok ,i said yes.

you then said it looked like it had water damage,i told you it was dusty from when i last used it in italy at the european championships and that the markings around the solder posts was infact dust,which it was..would you like me to post the emails between us??

all speedo's(infact anything in an offroad buggy)is subject to rough use,but as i stated before,can you point out the water damage and rust????..

why should i feel guilty,i have done nothing wrong.

and by the way my first post stands..you have until tonight 6pm bst to decide what you wish to do,im not into falling out with people as im a very ammicable person and its my 40th birthday tomorrow so i have beter things to think about this week than this,but i wont let my good character be slain in public.
