the original Jugg tranny casings didn’t have enough support for the gear axles so they chewed out

revised care pack parts have beefier support, bigger bearings too I think & some dinky heat sinks

Pretty soon I'm going to put a battery in and give it a drive to see what happens with the original tranny and axles. See what strips first. Nothing to lose since I have to put an all new tranny in anyways. I bought a set of hardened steel tranny gears as well(expensive) but I feel because this thing is so heavy, it will be hard on anything made of nylon gears.

After the drivetrain upgrade, I'm putting in as many improvements as possible. I have even thought about ditching the leaf springs and go right to coil overs. This thing literally has no suspension, those springs are way to stiff. I'll try and see if I can soften the springs, perhaps something from rc4wd.. I dunno, bit that will have to be fixed.

Thanks @WillyChang - I stand corrected!  I knew the case was different but never had any issues with the Jugg 1 trans.  Good thing you got the updated case, internals should swap right over.

I tore this juggernaut all apart and lost interest immediately. I'm gonna see how much stuff is worth on it and put it all up for sale. I'm not one to ask premium prices, will take a loss, but oh well.

Sorry to hear, anything with the truck lead to that decision or just lost interest altogether?  Hope you get what you need out of it.

.. Sounds like my experience with the new MB01 ..

Sorry to hear @F-150, but I suppose these things are just part of the game.  Won't know for certain until you're there.

I bought a special edition Hornet Supreme and before I did that I told myself something had to go to make up for the price of the hornet. So the juggernaut was it.

Paid stupid money for the hornet, kinda regret it, but it's real cool

Understood.  I don't really need another Jugg but I might be interested if you haven't already sold it.

I should of kept quiet lol I'm a blabber mouth. I have many inquiries about this in my inbox. One offer is a roller of an Associated B4.6D buggy with extras, never raced. Even swap. I planned to het into racing soon, so I guess this would be a start point. The extras make it worth more than the juggernaut, so I guess I want to go that route.

My Plan is to put the concepts illusion body on the b6.4 for a mid cab look which is nice. I can't stand cab forward.
