I'm sorry to read these sad news. It is extra striking for me, as we are in the same situation with my mother ATM.

I have not been here for so many years,  but your tractor has been a great read. Who cannot love a County-inspired build.

I wish strength and all the best for you and your family.

Hard to find words in these situations. I’ll say it’s been a privilege to enjoy your work via the club. Good bye Martin, it was a pleasure to meet you and Mrs. MadInventor. I will remember you.

It’s been a pleasure seeing the creations you have put together.

Sincerest thoughts to you and your family.

Thank you for your quality contribution to the Forum.

Thanks for sharing all your work, it’s been an honour to see your projects unfold and to have some of your one-off parts in my own collection, you’ll be missed.

Madinventor, so sorry to read your post. Its heartbreaking to read that you're leaving your 11yo son behind but he will no doubt have amazing memories. Your scratch builds inspired me to give the yacht a go and that takes pride of place in the house - it even sailed once!

Thoughts with you and your family at this time

Some of @MadInventors marvellous creations

I'm pretty sure that that Lunchie is the reason why I've got a TLT-1 based Pumpkin project amongst my list of unfinished projects.

Peace be with you, @MadInventor, my TamiyaClub brother.

So sorry to hear this.  Thank you so much for all the time you've taken to share your builds on this site, and for the inspiration you've brought us.

A sunny afternoon talking Tamiya in your workshop was one of my fondest memories of the last few years, and one I will treasure forever.

I'm not far away, if there's anything I can do, please let me know.

May this next chapter of your journey be as peaceful as it can be.

Very sorry to hear this, thanks for sharing your builds here on the site. If your son ever has any issues with access to the site make sure they look me up and when his subscription is up I will gift him a new one so he always has access to your showroom.

Have not seen your builds but it is very sad to read that information.

I think that it is also important for everyone, that despite such situation, you decided to share information and just say Goodbye.

So: Goodbye!

So sad.

You will be truly missed here. Your scratch builds are some of the most interesting content in the forum.

Thank you for taking the time to say goodbye. Go in peace, dear RC friend.

What. No, Ouch, you can't go!

I'm so sorry to hear the bad news, I thought you'd had enough of playing with rc cars, I didn't think you meant you were leaving the world behind! 🥺

Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful builds with us and being such an asset to our community... I for one have always enjoyed your posts.

We are going to miss you a lot around here.

That's really awful to hear.  This place won't be the same without you.

Thanks for all the amazing content over the years.  The War Rig was, is, and always will be, insane!  Probably the most memorable RC on here.

Thoughts and prayers to your family @MadInventor. I still recall following that steel hull Tiger that is your avatar pic, thinking how awesome your skill and thoughts towards scratch building were. Good luck and prayers are with you and your family 😢
