That front mount seems like an easy 3d print. I'm surprised there isn't a free stl available somewhere.

I had the mini 4WD fire dragon clear special and I really liked the look of it. Unfortunately I believe the 1/10 version is pre-painted now?

Yes it's pre-painted red.  

You can buy spare bodies which aren't pre-painted. (they are pre-cut for a Hornet, and need a little extra cutting for the Dragon chassis) here's one that I got for my Hornet but it ended up being a spare body for my Fire Dragon;

My advice is ti get a Terra Scorcher. It has all the stuff you want straight out of the box. The only things it needs are the A5 upgrade and a steel pinion (which they all need). Then get a clear FD body. The bodyposts for the FD are on the parts tree (as well as the monoshock mount,  if one should feel for using it).
