I know Someone has made a one way for Boomerang or Hoeshot. Who still offer it?

What is the b benefit by using the one way?

Asfarbas I know, the one way is installed at the front. Does the car still need the front diff when the one way is there?

There is some talk on old forums of a para or hot trick setup that had one way bearings in the front wheels. It's unlikely there was ever a diff replacement. Front one ways either replace the front diff, or they come in the form of a torque splitter which keeps the front diff unchanged but adds the one way bearing somewhere along the prop shaft. The manta ray/top force works like this.

I managed to make a front one way for my Thunder Dragon by inserting a 53200 TA03 one way system into a modified diff case, but with the Hotshot series diff being open I don't know if that would be possible.

The hop up most people talk about is the MIP ball diff.

A one way is just a rachet, one way it grips the other it slips.

You get 4wd in forward drive, but only 2wd when braking, this is meant to help it turn into corners (you're handbraking into the corner), but for me ,part of the benefit of 4wd, is you get decent brakes, so you can brake alot later.

It was a thing back in the late 80's (think Schumachers Procat came with it as standard, before swapping to a FAB unit ,Front Adjustable Brake , later on).

Thanks a lot for your explanation!

.What about a slipper clutcher? Can we have slipper clutcher as well as one way unit?

Thanks a again!

Yes,

A slipper is a torque limiting device. Instead of wheelies or wheelspin, you can adjust the slipper ,so it slips and give perfect acceleration.

It also helps take stress off gearbox parts, not only with running modern brushless, but when landing off a jump, and the wheel speed is different to surface speed.

Surely a Boomerang is supposed to come back not go one way!?

Depends on how hard and what angle you throw it...
