Hi there TamiyaClub.

I'm looking to make a custom build that will have a really short wheelbase, like in the 160mm - 170mm range. I am wondering if there is a chassis that would be better for such a chop job. I'm assuming something that doesn't have a whole lot of moving parts through the middle. (ie belts or long drive shafts will not be ideal) I can reposition the battery etc so never fear if that doesn't have to remain running sideways across the chassis. Would a certain M series be better than another to chop the middle out of, or something else entirely?

Thanks for any advice on this.

I have a project on the backburner (shorty Midnight Pumpkin) - so I asked around, and from reading this thread I know that one could apparently make a shorter version of the MF-01x, for example (160-170-sh mm).

@alvinlwh Do you know if the WR-02C is just the WR-02CB (or others) with smaller wheels? Looking at the C version that is the HONDA CITY TURBO model it looks perfect for what I need, including that wheel size, except they are a little rare and hard to come by, and I don't want that body so it's blashemy to discard it like that should I buy one on eBay or the like.  Long story short, can I put smaller wheels on something like this ...

Or will the ground clearance be an issue?

Thanks again.
