Finally decided to let this one go!  I was planning to have one of each of the old trophy trucks, but realistically I can only ever drive one at a time and I've run out of space, so this one must reluctantly be passed on to someone else who will get some joy from it.

This is either a quick project or an easy restoration, depending on your POV.  It was built as an original Desert Fielder, but was run with a Brat body.  I only ran it a couple of times when a roll damaged the front shock tower - see pics below.  Instead of replacing like-for-like, I fitted Manta Ray shock towers and longer CVA shocks - this was a popular mod back in the day for a bit more suspension travel.  I never got around to finishing the project, so there are no body posts fitted.  This is something you'll need to work out for yourself (or add an extra £40 on the price tag and I'll make something up out of aluminium L-section).  Or you can just replace the parts tree and find a proper set of shorter CVA shocks to put it back to standard.  Broken shock tower parts included if you want to try to fix them, but the "correct" CVAs are not included (I probably stole them for something else).

The Desert Fielder body was never painted, and is included, pre-trimmed, with NIP Desert Fielder decals and masks, the original front bumper / rally lights and number plates.  Also included is an MCI Designs reproduction decal set for the Toyota Prerunner, which used the same body, so you can replicate that awesome classic racing truck if you so desire.

Also the eagle-eyed among you will notice it is currently wearing the smaller tyres from the Landfreeder.  I fitted these because they look better under the Brat body, but you probably want full-size tyres for the Toyota body.  With that in mind, I dug around in the box and found some options - the original, correct, tyres for the Desert Fielder (these have a slightly more 'street' pattern and can be seen on the right in the tyre stack photo) and also a set of slightly chunkier BFG-style tyres, but without the BFG markings on the tyres.  Note that on the box sides, the truck is pictured with the BFG-style tyres with the BFG markings, but on the photo on the front of the box, it wears the street-style tyres which appear to have "Tamiya Racing" decals.  "Tamiya Racing" decals included on the Desert Fielder decal sheet.  Both are mounted on the correct (for the Desert Fielder) satin-plated wheels but are not glued.

So - let me know your preference for wheels and tyres - the satin-plated ones are right for the Desert Fielder, IIRC the matt silver wheels are right for the Toyota Prerunner.  The street-style tyres are right for the Desert Fielder, the BFG-style tyres are right for the Toyota Prerunner (although IIRC the original Prerunner had the BF Goodrich markings on them).  You get one set of wheels and one set of tyres in the deal, just let me know which ones you want.

Also fitted with a basic Futaba S3003 servo and a steel pinion.

Price is £140 plus postage.  Based in the West Wilts, UK, happy to post overseas at buyer's cost.
