"Killerbody" Body Opinions

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Any opinions about Killerbody brand?

Painted are expensive, but look very nice, at least on photos.

Will they fit XV-01 chassis? I am interested in Lancer body mainly.

Can't say anything about the Lancer body but I had a Subaru BRZ from Killerbody. The BRZ body is wider than a Tamiya body. Which makes it necessary to use wheels with a lot of offset.

i have the Skyline R34 GT-R, it's very detailed, probably a step above most Tamiya's. but it is also quite a bit more finicky to build, as it has separate front and rear bumpers.

Interested in people's opinions here as well. Killerbody do make some finished bodies that cost about the same as a Tamiya body plus the cost of paint. Would be interested in using these as rally runners.

I have a Subaru Killerbody on my TT02. It is very detailed but so nice I haven’t had the heart to run it yet.

Are body posts positions marked somehow?

No you have to do them yourself as needed

i put a bit of black marker or paint on the tops of the body posts, so that it transfers to the inside of the body when you fit it. Then you can see where to do the wholes
