hi all

i have a 6 year old trying to play with my neo schorcher and having a lot of issues with my transmitter size...

I am using a cheap dumboRC model that is way to big to fit a 6 year old kid hand.

any suggestions? a really small transmitter with wheel or even a small square , 2 channel old style one.

as long as a 6 year old can use it...

thanks!

The Futaba 3PV is really small. Usual Futaba quality, 10 model memory, all the adjustments you need (EPA to slow the car down). I think my son was about 4 when we got one and it was perfect for him, and the good thing is its still going strong and is used a lot.

You can get clone rx for them too which are a lot cheaper than Futaba ones and work fine

Second vote for the 3PV here.  Picked up one for my daughter when she was 6, and it fits her great.  My only complaint is that the menu system is different and (believe it or not...) even less intuitive than their other radios.

Carson Reflex wheel start is a simple and sturdy TX that works good for small hands. Not as precise an item for grownups,  but all in all better for the kids since it fits good in their hands and it's not the end of the world if they drop it. You even get it in my favorite color (turquise). Yes that is what we have.

Turbo Racing P32. You can even get gyro receivers with that.

Agreed, I have a few for me and they work well. Cool colours, take AAA batteries, decent battery life and work well. I've got ones without the screen but for simple cars they are fine. Nice lights and 3rd channel options too

That is a rebadged, and more expensive, Turbo Racing 91803G-VT.

Oha. Didn’t know that. Nice to know that there are cheaper receivers to get, if I would need that.  But since it's turquise it's worth the extra cash

The real question is how much is the turbo racing + a can of fine surface primer + a can of TS102 😛

That's too much mint green (but a lovely color). I'm more into the cyan-shade of turquise:D.
