Why can't I update my showroom?

As title, I am trying to load a new car to my showroom, tried 3 times now with no success. I am doing nothing differant to previous entries except I pasted the text in from word. The images have been reduced to low resolution.

It goes through the usual loading and everything appears to work. But when finished it returns to my main showroom not entered[!]

So being a computer numpty what am i doing wrong[?]

Try uploading one pic after another. Maybe there's a server timeout when uploading 6 large pics. Are you on dialup?

yes i'm on dial up - but loaded 6 piccies before with no probs. I'll try loading individually and see what happens. Can't wait to get broadband - dial up is seriously winding me up at mo!!!

You have checked the obvious and made sure it simply hasn't been added onto the next page in your showroom [] (Don't laugh but that happened to me, first time I had exceeded the 30'ish items per page and I added the new model but it 'disappeared', the showroom defaults to the first page after adding a new model not the page it added it to......[:I] )

A few questions...

Nothing has changed on the club with regard to picture uploading for ages, so if it worked before and doesn't now, that implies a change somewhere else, probably your machine.

Have you installed anything new recently, firewalls, cache cleaners, popup blockers, updates, patches etc etc (not that we should conflict with any but we need to check)

Have you changed browsers

Are you doing something different with your pics, a new camera perhaps or editing them before uploading? The system only suports jpegs.

How long is it before you page refreshes when uploading?

As far as I am aware I have not changed any settings, only thing updated are my virus definitions.

Same camera, same settings. Only thing i did was change one image to a lower resolution. I have taken a few images of some other entries and i'll give it a go to see if they will load.

well tried updating again tonight but failed again. so loaded a couple of other entris which loaded 100% fine no probs. took some new pictures of my Blackfoot and also re wrote the text and finally it loaded ok so only thing i can assume is something corrupt at my end. thanks for all the input, panic over [8D]

Might have been an issue with the site not liking the text you copied from word, if that was the only thing you did different from the last time
