Every vendor I can find in the US and Asia lists the Madbull as out-of-stock. Tamiyausa lists the model as discontinued.

https://www.tamiyausa.com/shop/-road-buggies/rc-mad-bull/

The only vendor I can find anywhere with stock is Tamico, though shipping is a big chunk of cash.

Found a Youtube video which appears to confirm it is discontinued:

I'm gutted. Suck a simple and dated design, but so totally perfect for everyday backyard driving. :(

Bummer. Ive been eyeing on it since a year ago and regret not getting one while it was available in US.

DT-01 based cars are great… for having fun not worrying about stuff. Like GH series..

Wow, this model has had an incredible run to be fair. It was one of the best sellers in the UK out of all Tamiya kits because it would run on grass. Not just stupidly-low cut grass either, it could handle the roughest of UK back gardens!

It would also run well on sand due to its wide tread and big tyres.

Part ref 9805337 will forever stay with me - the splined 12mm rear hex-hubs which would eventually wear out - especially if you put a Sport Tuned motor in one. Spares, especially the (hard) body were really, really good value for money so it was great for kids, especially when they inevitably ran one into a kerb.

Probably time to retire it, but it will be "the Hornet" of the millenial generation IMO.

Mad bull still available here in NZ in some stores.  We have even just had a shipment of tamiya kits arrive...wild one(normal version), boomerang, sand viper(it's a discontinued model and spares are listed as discontinued), super saber, squash van etc

Don't know where the sand vipers came from, must of been sitting round in a warehouse somewhere

@isomer1, the Mad Bull was the first kit I picked up when I returned to the hobby in 2021, it is great fun!

They're in stock for £110 at my local hobby shop, if that's any good to you? Just let me know if you want a hand with shipping etc. bud

There is a NIB madbull local to me for sale on Facebook for 180 bucks. Still sealed.

I saw this post yesterday.

I considered it, but upon some research it wasn't my type of car. I'm trying to find it again, and if I do I will send you the link to it....I mean... mayby you and the seller can work out a deal.

No promises....it may be sold already, just wished I had seen this post first.

On Amain I can order a Viper, Holiday Buggy, or the Nissan Titan, even though Tamiyausa lists the chassis (among other parts) as being discontinued.

Makes me wish they'd just unload them cheap so collectors/shelf-queen people could scoop them up.

Dt02 is awesome. May not be a bad idea to scoop couple holiday buggies… love bodies  and those bodies are not cheap..

Why? So one person can have three unbuilt kits in their closet for 30 years, while another guy missed out and wanted just one?

I myself buy one of each that I want, shelf queen or not, and save the rest for people that have not gotten one yet.  Ive been stung so many times by hoarders, it's just what I do now.

Nope. I wanted to make different versions (color theme, different motors) of holiday buggies for a while.

Personally I'm not one to buy kits and leave them unbuilt either, but each to their own mate, everyone enjoys the hobby in different ways🙂
