Hi all, has anyone or is it even possible, to mount a Scorcher body on a tt01 chassis with only slight modifications? Body mounts being a starting point...

You should be able to set a TT01 to 251mm, which is roughly the right wheelbase for a Scorcher shell.

You will have either to do quite a bit of custom body mount work to mount it, put holes into the shell (which I don't reccomend), or buy a lexan reproduction shell which will be much easier to work with.

I used a lexan shell when I made my baja bug Frog, it's very similar to a Scorcher/Blitz/Monster shell, just cheaper and easier to mount.

Cheers buddy, car looks great..  yeah I think from memory the wheelbase is 257mm, I'll have to play about.  I have a magnetic post set up on it currently, failing that it becomes a shelf queen.. 😎

Thanl you, magnetic posts should be fine, admittedly I have little experience with them.

      Hi Jon,
In the linked image, I've simply moved the bar forward until it is centered directly over the rear shock tower (approx. 10.72mm) and kept the same height.  Is this what you had in mind?

      Hello
      Hope you are well
Are still manufacturing the gear box clamp for Monster Beetle?
Can they be fitted with a rear anti roll bar?
      Thank you for your help
      Kind regards
