Hello, I am thinking of buying a new motor for my 1:10 scale Tamiya Alpine A110 Jägermeister  R/C car, i currently have the stock engine that came with the car, and i am stuck deciding between the Tamiya 540 Sport Tuned Black version and the Tamiya GT Tuned Motor.

If anybody can tell me what is better, i would really appreciate it!

Thanks

@olxinono  If you have a comm lathe I suppose try the GT Tuned, but if not, I would definitely go with the SportTuned.

Also if you haven't already tried LiPo, LiPo in addition to the SportTuned will be a big bump in power.   GL with what ever you decide!   👍

(Quite a few languages don't make a distinction between engine and motor, just fyi...)

The Sport Tuned should be a good upgrade. Any 540- size 20 turn motor would work well, also. You don't need a lot of torque for an M-chassis, so the GT tuned is probably overkill.

I assume that's a M-06? I strongly advise against a Super Stock motor as the drag of the strong magnets will knock the rear loose every time you let off the throttle. It's going to get old really fast.

Edit: I meant GT tuned not SS

If you want a lot of power but stay with a brushed setup then a Sport Tuned will be fantastic.
