Hello 

Been in out of the hobby since the 80’s but still got all my cars 😉

Ive decided to get my FL-12 running again but struggling to find gaskets need a backplate gasket and an exhaust gasket,any idea where I can purchase them or any other engine gaskets fit ?  Need my mind refreshed

Hi Dave,

The backplate gasket is discontinued however the Traxxas 4013 gasket works fine. For the exhaust gasket you should be able to get them on Ebay. Any 12-15 muffler gasket should work.

I have made backplate gaskets with thick paper (that we used to call "Bristol Paper") that held up perfectly. I would make the 4 screw holes first, then cut the main hole to shape directly on the crankcase and finally only trim the outside after having reinstalled and tightened the backplate. Then I would disassemble, soak the gasket in oil and reassemble.

This was common practice in the early 90's at the RC club, not my own innovation 😉

Hi, I am  restoring my Subaru and need a new undercowl. Partnumber 53384. 

Can you help me find this part or can this be 3D printed, because it is not been produced anymore.
