Tamiya Official Website Finally Updated

This is very nearly an 'off-topic' but I noticed today that Tamiya have finally updated their website and brought it into the 21st Century!

That's lovely. Hopefully the next step will be able to but parts from there... Imagine that. Nominate your local model shop and they then make their usual margin on the stuff you order from Japan. (i know it's pie in the sky)...

I was thinking of getting one of the walking robots but I'm afraid it will raise up some day with all the other AI devices and kill me in my sleep.

Is it just me or is the TD4 Super Avante no where to be found?! There's spare parts and the mini ones but no kit. TD2 is there however. Discontinued or fingers crossed, coming back out with a better body?

Or is it a sign that a super egress is not far off?  Metal bevel gears, alloy diff nuts, and strengthened/redesigned hubs etc included in standard kit.  Upgraded model like original egress was to original avante?

Hopefully this. I doubt Tamiya would discontinue it when it shares the majority of parts as the TD2. I suspect it's either an oversight or a new version may be coming

Given that it's a recent model, and there are a pile of spare parts and Hop-Ups listed, I can't see that it's an oversight?  Something must be afoot?

That'd be nice. Plus fancy shocks. And would surely make business sense given that only really the shell would need up-front investment. And hubs if they need a redesign. Everything else is an available hop up.

Well,  they've added the TD4 manual but not the TD2 so i thought it's most likely an oversight.

There is a fair coming up in germany is it?   Td4N or Td4U (N=Normal or U=Upright referring to front shock orientation) Super Egress...without the laydown front shocks thus removing that awful battery mounting setup

I'd even consider putting in my first ever preorder for that
