Hi,

I bought spare sprue with Dog Bones and Cups for TT-02.

I found that material seems to be different than in stock version.

Dog Bone on top is from kit, bottom is spare sprue. Kit version has more particles and is bit lighter, maybe with some brown shade. Looks like CF or GF reinforced.

Bottom Dog Bone is just black.

Any idea what is going on?

I already saw that in DT-03 I believe, but it was not clearly visible and I thought that it was just my imagination. Now I am sure that material is different.

PS: do not look on shape. Top is sanded for test purposes.

PA-GF on spares. Unfortunately, I do not have sprue from kit :/

That's reinforced nylon. GF gives the gray grained look, so I suspect that the old part is the same material. It's possible that they changed amount, type of fibre material, amount of pigment (PA is naturally white) or injection procedure, which resulted in different colour. If they reduced amount of GF, the darker parts would be more flexible. Otherwise, there shouldn't be a big difference.
