Fusion SE 1800kv calibration ended but ZERO forward and reverse response

Recommended Posts

Hi guy's

Spend the entire Sunday trying, re-trying, re-re-trying and re-re-re-trying calibrating my Hobbywing Fusion SE 1800kv and yet I haven't figured out as to why there are no forward and reverse response?

I calibrated the throttle as per the instructions. The switch flashes green post calibration. I also watch The Charlie Show episode 299 calibrating the same unit just to make sure I didn't miss anything. Can verify I did what he did only that he touch the steering wheel on his transmitter so the switch went from flashing green, as I experienced, to solid red, which I wasn't able to achieve.

This my friends are oh so frustrating to say the least :-(

Ideas, experience, knowledge as to remedy this are much appreciated.

Thanks c'',)

Are you sure, that you connected motor and servo properly? Can you move servo?

@skom25 and @alvinwh: Thank you for replying. Much appreciated :-)

However, problem is solved.

It was my mistake entirely. I didn't take the instructions seriously enough. Upon initiating automatic motor paring making the Fusion reboot itself, I kept the pinion gear engaged on to the spur gear. BIG mistake. In order for the Fusion to reboot completely is to let the motor spin freely, ie pinion gear must not engaged on to the spur gear. That's it!  The throttle calibration worked out flawlessly.

Forward and reverse now works :-)
