Absima or fake?

I got these shocks from ebay for $20.  I ordered thinking, "hey, I've never tried anything Absima." 

But it came with a brand name of "Option No 1." (No, fake wasn't my option #1.)  No part number, no specs, no price. Does anybody know if Absima even sells 52mm shocks?  

It looks suspiciously like no-name Aliexpress shocks.

I just purchased some like that off eBay for my Squash van. V-racing but in blue. Mine have Option No. 1 printed where yours say Absima.

I remember Absima being sucessor of Ansmann, who sold rebranded TeamC buggies..  It's a typical rebrand company, so the shocks might be genuine.

Indeed. They are about as genuine as anything else Absima sells. Genuinely bought from a Far Eastern generic mass producer and stamped with their own name. 😀

Since I'm unfamiliar with the European market, I was somewhat expecting "Absima has the German engineering spirit" or such.  That notion probably made sense when Goonies was at the theaters in 1985 (when Samwise Gamgee was a child, I mean Sean Astin).  I just realized even the Lord of the Rings was from 23 years ago. I feel so old...

Can’t help with whether they are fake or not, but I was close to putting some of those in with an aluminium SRB chassis from a USA seller recently. The day after I ordered the chassis the seller offered 5% off the shocks. I bought some similar blue ones elsewhere that look the same claiming they fit a TT02. They where pretty stiff and I bit long so I’ve never used them.

But if the ones you have do there intended job that’s all that matters really.
