Really happy I finally found the time to go.  Definitely worth it.  And was super lucky to bump into Mr. Shunsaku Tamiya, the man himself.  Every time I look back at this, it brings a smile to my face.

While I am current Tamiya-less, the "Meeting Mr Tamiya" chapter is why I'll always have some respect for them. They still try to get kids into science with their educational kits, and their Mini 4wd line-up (with all of the different bits about friction, motor types, etc).

Plus, their RC racing events seem much more welcoming than anything us super serious Americans are doing, and they pull a bigger crowd.
